Privacy

What happens with my personal information?

When you create an account and/or update your profile the data will be stored in our database. This database is used only to match you, the candidate, to the right vacancy.

Does Ardekay use cookies?

Yes, we use cookies because this makes everything work smooth and secure. Cookies are used to validate your identity as you browse from page to page. Without cookies, login credentials would have to be entered before every application and login.

Who can see or download my CV on this website?

 All of your entered information, including the information in our CV creator, is only accessible by our recruiters. 

Are your services of Ardekay free of charge for candidates?

Our service is free of charge because we want to make sure you find the job of your dreams. 

How can I unsubscribe so that I no longer receive e-mails from Ardekay?

When you are subscribed to our mailing list, you will receive one email per week with our most recent job vacancies. If you would like to unsubscribe, you can do so by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of the e-mail, by changing your preferences in your user portal or by sending an email to privacy@ardekay.com.

My account

How can I create an account?

In order to apply for a job, you will need to create an account on our website. On the top right corner of our website you can find a button called ‘Create account’. On this page, you need to fill out the necessary information and accept our Privacy Statement before pressing the submit button. Once you submit your account, you will receive a confirmation email with a verification link leading you to the login page. Once logged in, you will able to change all your information, resume, password, and preferences. 

How can I log into the portal?

On the top right corner of our website, you can find a button called ‘Login’ button. When you click on this button, you will be redirected to a login page where you can fill out your username and password. Your username will always be the email address you used to create an account. 

Why should I create an account?

Create your personal account now and benefit from the following advantages:

  • Apply directly on our, new and easy to use job board
  • Respond 24/7 to our new top vacancies
  • Update your CV, skills, profile, and preferences regularly
  • Provide information about your availability
  • Receive our weekly email with the most recent vacancies

I forgot my password, what can I do now?

When logged out, you can find a button called ‘login’ in the top right corner of our website. On the login page, you will see a link called ‘Forgot password’ on which you need to click. Fill out your email address and press send. You will receive an email with a new temporary password.

What is my username?

Your username is the email address you used to create your account on our website. 

Are there any costs associated with creating an account?

Creating an account is completely free of charge. Create yours now!

How can I make changes to my account?

In order to change any account or profile information, you need to be logged in into your account. Once you are logged in, you can change all your information and preferences in the sections ‘Account info’ and ‘My profile’.

I would like to change my password, how can I do this?

There are two ways to change your password:

  • When logged out, you can find a button called “login” in the top right corner of our website. When you click on this button, you will be redirected to a login page. Here you will find a link called “Forgot password” on which you need to click. Fill out your email address and press send. A temporary password will be sent to the entered email. 
  • When you are logged in, you can change your password by going into the portal and click on “Account info”. Type in the password you would like to create and verify that password by typing it in again. Then make sure to save these changes.

Candidates

Who is the contact person for the job vacancy and who should I address my CV to?

To apply for a job you can just click the ‘apply now’ button. You can also reach out to the recruiter that is mentioned on the vacancy for further information. If you are not able to find the contact person you can also send your CV to info@ardekay.com

Can I apply for several jobs at the same time? If so, do I need to create a different CV or cover letter for each position?

Yes, it is possible to apply for several positions at the same time. Once you apply for a job vacancy you can find your applications inside your personalized portal underneath the tab ‘My jobs’. One of our recruiters will review your application(s) and reach out to you to further discuss next steps. In general, it is advised to create a CV and cover letter that matches the job you are applying to.

When is the closing date for a job vacancy?

The closing date for a job vacancy varies depending on numerous factors. In general, there is no fixed time period for a job vacancy to be closed unless a closing date is mentioned in the job description. 

Where can I get more detailed information about a job vacancy?

If you want more information about the open positions you can always reach out to the contact person, mentioned on the job description, via an email or phone call. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

What is the best way to apply for a job?

We have created a job engine that contains all available jobs. When you see a vacancy that you like, just click on it to open the job detail page. On this page you can find all the necessary information concerning the vacancy and also an ‘Apply now’ button. You will be asked to either log in or create an account. If you are ready to apply, just click on that button and our recruiters will be notified. You can also reach out to our recruiters via e-mail or phone. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, we are looking forward to hear from you. 

What are the next steps after submitting an application?

After applying for a job, the recruiter mentioned in the job description will be notified. The recruiter will review your application and see if the vacancy meets your profile and skills. If you are a match, we will contact you via a phone call to get to know you better. If this job is not a match for you, our recruiters will keep looking to find you your dream job.

What can I do to improve my CV and cover letter?

In general, it is advised to create a cover letter and resume that matches the vacancy you are applying to. ​​​​​​

If I pass on one job, will my recruiter still consider me for other jobs?

Yes, our recruiters will continuously do their best to find the perfect job for you.  
 

How should I dress for the interview?

Unless otherwise instructed we advise you to come to an interview dressed in a formal way. 
 

Which skills and talents are we looking for?

In general, all the skills are listed on the job description. Ardekay offers jobs in IT. If you are interested, you can check our available jobs to see if we have a job for you.

Can I work for Ardekay?

Yes, we are constantly looking for new talent. If you are interested to work for us, we suggest that you go to our corporate recruitment website. Here you can search for possible jobs for each brand of APG. You can always contact us directly via e-mail or give us a call for more information. 
 

How long does it take for a recruiter to reach out to me after creating an account or sending in an application?

What will Ardekay do for us as a company?

Ardekay will try to find suitable candidate profiles that will match with your job criteria and will present them to you. We work in small teams to focus on your job vacancy and we work based on ‘no cure, no pay’.

How can I register a vacancy as an employer?

Ardekay has a vast and qualitative database full of potential candidates. Please fill out the contact form on our ‘Employers’ page and we will contact you as soon as possible. Together we will create the best strategy to match your job posting(s) with the right candidate.

Where can I find more information about GDPR legislation and how it affects me as a candidate?

How can I request an overview of my information in your database?

To request a datasheet overview with your personal information you need to be logged in. Then go to ‘Account info’ and click on a tab called ‘preferences’. Here you will find several options, such as preference settings and the possibility to request a datasheet. Click the button and fill out the requested information, then press send.

Another way of requesting your datasheet is to send an email to privacy@ardekay.com with the subject ‘Overview of my information’.

How can I request that my information gets deleted from your database?

To request the deletion of your account and personal information you need to be logged in. Then you will go to ‘Account info’ and click on a tab called ‘preferences’. Here you will find several options, such as preference settings and the possibility to request the deletion of your account and personal information. When you click on the button you will be asked to fill out some extra information. Please check off your preferences and press send.

Another way of requesting your datasheet is to send an email to privacy@ardekay.com with the subject ‘Request to delete my account’.

How can I request to be unsubscribed from your communication lists?

To request to be unsubscribed from our communication lists, you can contact privacy@ardekay.com. In the email please use the subject ‘Unsubscribe me from your communication lists’ and specify from which communication lists you would like to be unsubscribed.
